Carrollton Public Library
This important community resource was established by fourteen determined women whose vision was to bring a public library to Carrollton, Missouri. From humble beginnings, in 1938, with a total of 290 books in the basement of City Hall, they have grown to over 350,000 books. The library is now located in the historic downtown square and with the help of Copeland Development & Construction Co., Inc. the state-of-the-art library blends perfectly with the 100-year-old buildings located around the square.
