Founded in 1851, First Baptist Church of Platte City, moved throughout Platte City as their numbers grew. In 2007, they purchased over 100 acres of land off Highway 371 with a vision for the future. In 2018, Copeland Development and Construction Co., Inc. helped to bring that vision to life. This spectacular church is over 47,814 square feet and has room for worship, events, conference rooms and more. On Christmas Eve, 2020, the doors were opened to the congregation for their first service in their new church home.
