2024 marks Liberty Hospital’s 50th year serving the greater Kansas City area Northland communities. It all started in 1974, with a 101,000 square foot building that had 130 medical beds. Over the years, Liberty Hospital has added new wings, an emergency department, an education center, obstetrics, an angiography suite, outpatient services and opened several health clinics to name a few. In 2013, Copeland Development and Construction Co., Inc. constructed this cutting-edge Sport Medicine facility. At the facility they commonly treat athletic injuries as well as concussion management, rehabilitation therapy, sports performance, and adult fitness.
